Gallery: Great Plains

It has been a minute since I have written a post on here. We have been busy preparing for a move to Colorado in which we leave in just a few days. We are excited for our new adventure in one of my favorite places! Anyway, I wanted to post a blog highlighting my new gallery addition to my website: Great Plains. Growing up in Kansas I learned photography while living on the open plains. Going back through old photos I decided it was worth adding to the portfolio. You can view the portfolio gallery here. I also am adding the photos to this post which can be seen below.

You may be asking yourself how I have photos of tornadoes. Until I moved out west my dad and I used to chase storms and tornadoes. Since 2006 we have roamed the Great Plains looking for severe weather. However, I haven't chased since 2014, though I expect that to change moving to Colorado (the western edge of "Tornado Alley"). If you are wondering more about my storm chasing background that is coming in a future blog post. In the meantime enjoy these photos and be sure to check back as this summer is sure to be filled with plenty of new adventures.
